CRAFT ART IN SOUTH AFRICA BOOK
March 01, 2015
ARTVARK featured in the book craft art in South Africa by Dr Elbé Coetsee in both the 2002 and 2015 edition. The 2015 edition is available for purchase at Artvark Gallery and leading bookstores nationwide.
Following the success of her first book, Elbé Coetzee’s 2015 title is testament to her passion for craft art and social entrepreneurship. A tireless supporter of artists and crafters who create handmade objects, Elbé chose to work with iconic photographer, Jac de Villiers, who is known for his skilled portraiture. He perfectly captured the tactile quality of the craft as well as the personalities of the artists featured throughout.
