Kelsey Ede is a Cape Town-based multidisciplinary artist working across ceramics, fibre and mixed media. Her practice explores
resilience, motherhood, femininity and healing through change.

Working intuitively with tactile, elemental materials, Kelsey combines hand-built ceramic forms with stitched and woven fibre

compositions. Her work is grounded in materiality and process. What emerges are emotional landscapes; narrative, sculptural forms that invite contemplation. Each work holds space for the quiet resilience of motherhood, the collective threads of the feminine experience, and the joy found in life’s details.

She hopes her work nurtures the viewer’s soul and offers a moment of reflection and connection.
