All through the year, people swim in Dalebrook pool, one of the ocean pools along the False Bay Coast from Muizenberg to Simonstown. These paintings reflect my interest in watching people in the ocean and on the beach. There is something in the body language of a bather that reveals the shared nature of the human condition.
