Artist statement:

Although I grew up in a small town and very close to nature it did not have an immediate influence on my work, because, like most, I moved to the big city with the bright lights to study and start a career as a goldsmith.

Admittedly I have a love of all things bright and shiny, hence sticking a little diamond in here and there – that puts a large smile on my face.

However, lately, I started experimenting with rougher and more natural-looking shapes and setting them with rough and tumbled not-so-shiny diamonds. I just love sitting back and looking at these awesome new creations.
