Amos describes himself as an impressionist. He prefers the use of warm, bright, clean, fresh colours to capture the social aspects of people in their daily lives - women and men in love, travelling in a taxi, playing music and football, nature and animals, as well as depicting the joy, pain, perseverance and labour in these everyday scenes.
Amos was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, before moving to Cape Town. He started painting as a young boy. Amos is a self-taught artist who has been exhibiting since 2004. He has a passion and gift to share with the world about everyday life.
